This policy covers the Normi marketing website and DSA Chamber at normiapp.com. They share one browser preference. It does not change settings in our native apps or the separate web app at app.normiapp.com.

Optional analytics is off until you allow it. Rejecting it does not prevent sign-in, practice, saved progress or use of the website. Signing in is not analytics consent.

Essential storage

We use browser storage to provide features you request: sign-in sessions, study plans, drafts, progress, and cached app, Python and lesson files. These features continue to work when optional analytics is rejected.

Your privacy choice is stored on this browser under normi.consent.v1, with the policy version and decision time. We remember it for 180 days. If the browser blocks storage, your choice applies to the current visit. Clearing site data also clears the choice and may remove locally saved app data.

Optional analytics

Normi's marketing pages currently load no optional analytics or advertising trackers. DSA Chamber supports PostHog, which is loaded only after you allow analytics and an eligible signed-in account uses the app, when analytics is configured. We exclude founder and suspected bot accounts.

PostHog can receive your account identifier, the question identifier and feature events such as opening a question, running code or submitting an answer. We do not send your code as an analytics property. Automatic page tracking and screen recording are disabled. Analytics identity is held in memory for the visit; the SDK may store an opt-in/opt-out preference.

Changing your mind

Use Cookie settings on either site, or the link in the Normi footer, to change your choice. Turning analytics off stops further analytics collection and resets the running analytics identity. Changes also apply to other open tabs on this origin. We do not queue activity from before consent for later tracking.

We ask again when the preference expires or the purposes change. This choice covers optional analytics only; we currently offer no advertising category.
